Winter Season

Winter Season is an ongoing manhwa by Cheongdam, Iiromill. Read it free on MangaPulse and MangaDex, or officially on Ridibooks.

Lee Hyun’s life that day was no different from any other, until Gu Seunghyeok, the man he had broken up with nine years ago, appeared. “Did we ever start running a hole for hire business here? I did not know you were selling a man’s ass for money too.” Seunghyeok turns out to be the owner of Club Nexus, where Lee Hyun works. The moment they come face to face, he spits out cruel words and looks at Lee Hyun with open disgust, as if he is staring at something filthy. “Why are you looking at someone like that? It hurts. I finally run into an old friend after all this time, and I am offering him a good opportunity.” It feels like proof of the saying that misfortune always comes all at once. After meeting Seunghyeok, disaster begins to sweep through Lee Hyun’s ordinary life, and the bond between them, seemingly ready to snap yet never fully breaking, lingers like a thin thread. “If you need money, just say it straight. Say you have gotten desperate enough to need money earned from beating people up.” Back then, did you look at me the same way? With eyes full of disgust? What kind of face did you have, and what kind of gaze did you look at me with? The past that refuses to let go tightens its grip around Lee Hyun. “…It has been a long time, Gu Seunghyeok.”
